Contact & Design
Once you contact us we will briefly discuss your project and will give you a cost range. Then we can set up a time to meet at our showroom to discuss your project more in depth. If needed a site visit will be scheduled to get measurements and discuss the project.
At that initial meeting we will discuss style, wood species and finishes. We encourage you to bring pictures and ideas for the project along with you to help us see your vision. We also welcome the opportunity to collaborate with other design professionals. 3D drawings will be developed from this consult and a more detailed proposal will be made based on your needs.
After your custom design is complete and you are ready to order, you will be asked to sign a written agreement outlining your project as well as place a 50% deposit for the purchase of your cabinets, door or custom millwork.
Additionally you will need to provide the following information during the confirmation process.
*Delivery and production dates may be affected by changes made after final approval
- Signed Proposal
- Desired Delivery Date
- Appliances & Sinks – Manufacturer & model numbers (if applicable)
- All accessory selections
Final drawings will be reviewed and changed if needed. It is imperative that you carefully review the final drawings as they represent everything that was discussed and reflect the final outcome of the project. Any changes to these drawings must be made before your millwork goes into production. After final approval, most cabinets, doors and custom millwork can be delivered 4-6 weeks from your last revision. Once your custom order is in production, any changes made may result in additional cost and a delayed delivery date.
A cut list will be made from the drawings and materials will be ordered. One or two craftsmen will take your project from rough lumber to a completed piece ready for the finish room.
Our stains are hand wiped, sealed, and then a catalyzed varnish, polyurethane or exterior finish topcoat is applied. The final assembly is completed and the project is ready to be delivered and installed.
Our carpenters and/or one of our trusted subcontractors will install your door, cabinets or millwork. We strive to maintain a clean job site and to be as unobtrusive as possible in your home. We do not consider the job finished until you are completely satisfied.
